Thank you! We couldn't do this without you!

Dear Friends,

Last week, LiveConnections teaching artists were at Philadelphia's Henry Houston Elementary School, making a song with 4th-8th graders for the CD we're creating with the whole school. The students were inspired by a list from 1st graders about all the things they can do when they're older.

The chorus of the song was a joyful "I can do it by myself!" What we loved was that no one made it by themselves. It was the creation of 40 students, across the school. It underscores a fundamental truth at LiveConnections:

We can't do it by ourselves.

LiveConnections believes music inspires learning and builds community. As we give thanks this week, we want to thank all of you — who love music and kids, who support music education for Philadelphia youth, who come to our concerts and make our boundary-crossing collaborations possible.

We can't do it by ourselves. We wouldn't want to. THANK YOU for building this community with us.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at LiveConnections!

Melinda, David, Ladonna, Mary, Heather, Galea and Hal
