We're honored by the many music celebrities who are stepping up in support of our Kids Count Campaign! They, of all people, understand the power of music in young people's lives.

Follow along with each day's email blasts!

"LiveConnections gives Philly kids the chance to experience great musicians and to learn through the power of music -- for free. As musicians who grew up in Philadelphia, we know how important music education can be. Too many kids don't have that. LiveConnections is helping to fill that gap because they believe that music counts and that kids count. We hope you will too."
-Kevin Bacon & Michael Bacon, The Bacon Brothers

"Music has given me the chance to learn about the world and express my thoughts and ideas. But too many kids don't have the same opportunity. That's why I'm supporting LiveConnections."
-Jonatha Brooke

"I'm also a proud LiveConnections teaching artist. Why? Because LiveConnections connects. They connect kids to music they'd never experience. They connect kids to new ideas and experiences. They connect kids to imagination."
-Joseph Conyers, bassist with the Philadelphia Orchestra

"I'm a big supporter of LiveConnections. They've been doing this work for 7 years, so Happy Birthday, LiveConnections. So many kids across the city of Philadelphia get to experience the great work that you do. How about 24,000 kids -- all neighborhoods, all affected by this work. We know for a fact that music is great for our kids. We know that it helps with learning. We need your support, we need your help, and more importantly our kids need your help. And they deserve it."
-Mayor Michael Nutter

"We've been part of the Philly music scene for more than 35 years. Philly's full of music, but too many kids don't have the chance to experience that. That's why The Hooters are getting behind LiveConnections and their Kids Count Campaign."
-The Hooters

"I believe in the power that music has to help kids learn about the world and learn about themselves. LiveConnections puts that power into action with their music education."
-Brandi Carlile

"I want to let you know what music can bring to a young person's life. Music can introduce them to new cultures, new ideas, new points of view. But too many kids don't have access to music education. That's why I want to support LiveConnections and its Kids Count Campaign."
-Jon Bon Jovi

"We call Philly home and we play music, but a lot of kids in Philly don't always have access to music education. That's why we support LiveConnections."
-The Districts
