Online fundraising for Kids Count Campaign - 5th Anniversary Edition

We connect kids to music. When you do that, you connect them to the world.

  • Connections to music they've never heard before.
  • Connections to diverse cultures and ways of thinking.
  • Connections to artists who can be role models and inspirations.
  • Connections to their own curiosity.

For five years, LiveConnections has been connecting kids to music through our interactive concerts called Bridge Sessions. These bridges to classical, jazz, Latin and world music have brought more than 14,000 urban students to our partner venues World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, and World Cafe Live at the Queen in Wilmington, DE.

Our innovative approach makes students an active part of the experience. “They cared about our thoughts,” a student told her teacher after coming to a Bridge Session.

Many students come from schools with little or no arts programming, schools now facing crippling budget cuts. We strive to make programs FREE for all kids, so that everyone can connect with top-notch music opportunities.

To celebrate LiveConnections' 5th Anniversary, we're kicking off our annual Kids Count Campaign so that we can bring even more students to Bridge Sessions.

Help us raise $15,000 between now and May 15! Donate today!

  • $100 gets 10 kids to a Bridge Session.
  • $500 sponsors a bus full of kids.
  • $1000 brings a whole grade!

Kids count. Their thoughts count. Connecting them with experiences they otherwise wouldn’t have counts.

What a great way for all of us to say to the children of Philadelphia and Wilmington, "You Count!"

Thanks,
